In order to restore the castle to its former glory, it needs to be examined carefully to make sure that the restorations undertaken will last for as long as possible.

It is for this reason but also due to the need to obtain privileged access to the structures to restore them in the best possible conditions that vast scaffolding surrounding all the castle's facades was installed at the start of the project.

But so that all safety conditions are met, its size and weight required the creation of a concrete foundation around the castle, reinforced by large concrete piles and able to bear the weight of the 7 floors as well as the workers, materials and... the visitors.
