Every future engineer needs to understand the reason for the existence of standards, their role in industry, the way they are applied or used, the advantages (or disadvantages) they can bring.  there will be a special focus on quality, environment and security-related standards.

• ISO standards in Quality and Environment
• distinction betweenQA / GMP / GLP
• documentary system in quality management
• quality qualité
• HACCP
• Quality Assurance procedures
• how to organize and run a Quality Assurance department ?
• biosafety
• roles et tasks of safety manager
• safety audits

After an introductive lecture, the students will perform a personal research on a topic of their choice and prepare a PowerPoint presentation as well as a short abstract and will present their contribution to their classmates.

The presentations will be evaluated by the students themselves (as well as the teacher).

Knowledge of the subjects will be verified through a written exam.
