Aims and Objectives | Every future engineer needs to understand the reason for the existence of standards, their role in industry, the way they are applied or used, the advantages (or disadvantages) they can bring. there will be a special focus on quality, environment and security-related standards. |

Teaching and Learning Methods | Group seminars or workshops After an introductive lecture, the students will perform a personal research on a topic of their choice and prepare a PowerPoint presentation as well as a short abstract and will present their contribution to their classmates. |
Assessment Methods | Written examinations Continuous assessment The presentations will be evaluated by the students themselves (as well as the teacher). Knowledge of the subjects will be verified through a written exam. |
