Prerequisite

Various specific matters of the training of engineer, courses of 1st year of the 2nd cycle (industrial chemistry, organic chemistry, general and chemical thermodynamics, chemical engineering…)

Aims and Objectives

The optics followed in the course of 1st year of the second cycle remains the same one in 2nd. Here, the matters concern mainly the organic chemistry. The course is also interested in the particular problems posed by manufacture of catalysts. It ends in a synthesis of the problems created in the environment by the human activities and industrial and of the solutions which can be brought there.

Description

Organic chemical industries (substances with interfacial activity, industries of cellulose, organic dyes, sugar refinery, varnished and paintings); Manufacture of catalysts; Chemical industry in its environment (various risks, directing SEVESO, studies of incidence, waste solid, gas and liquid effluents, automobile pollution…)
