Aims and Objectives | Study of the electronic circuits of power such as graduator, choppers and inverters (to be put in relation to the course of electric machines and regulation of the second year). Study of some analogical circuits using operational amplifier (to be put in relation to the course of regulation). |
Description | Principle of the chopper series, chopper series on inductive load (command of DC motors). Principle of the parallel chopper. Principle of the reversible chopper. Principle of the 4 quadrant chopper. Thyristors and triacs : principle of the thyristor, characteristics. Applications: ordered rectifying bridges, choppers of power. The triac, the single-phase and three-phase current graduator. Inverters: general informations and definitions, assisted inverters, autonomous inverters, applications. Some applications of operational amplifier: equivalent diagram and ideal characteristics, reverser and no reverser circuits, adder and subtracter, comparer, integrator and derivator device. |

Description | To understand and to Concretize technical concepts: Students should dedicate themselves to the survey of a project, work will take place by group and will include two parts: A part seeks and calculations made up of the research, documentation, schedule of conditions obtained and experiment carried out, of the various solutions brought on this subject in industry or the trade, of the various diagrams planned to answer the schedule of conditions and finally a justification of the choice of the adopted solution. It is also necessary to consider the manufacture of the apparatus presented at the point of view of materials used, of the manufacturing processes considered, the standardization, the assembly and disassembling, maintenance, ergonomics, the working station... as all calculations necessary to the dimensioning of all the parts, objective of work. A Technical Drawing part which will include the overall drawing, the details drawing with functional quotation, surface qualities, tolerances... as well as the parts list by using CAD. |
