Aims and Objectives | To control the instructions of the Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Ladder Diagram (LD) languages. Analysing from specification the solution, programming and developing it on PLC. |
Description | The programmed command: advantages with respect to the traditional cabled. Input interface: acquisition of the data, wiring. Output interface: update of the output, wiring. The cycle of the PLC: the master task, examination, watch dog. Addressing : binary input/output. The not located (localized) variables: bits and words (16 and 32 bits) The programming in language FBD by means of the software "Unity Pro" (Schneider Electric) under Windows. The programming in language LD by means of the software "Unity Pro" (Schneider Electric) under Windows. |

Assessment Methods | Oral examinations Continuous assessment Continuous assessment: practical work to realize in a given time, a file have returned by the student at the time of the meeting according to work. The marks for the files amount 60% of the total. Oral examination with open book in June (or september) (40%). |
