Aims and Objectives

This cursus is intended to give more training after the basic cursus taught during the first year.

Description

Tension and compression, strength criterion, influence of the weight of the beam, beam of equal strength, shells under pressure, thermal stresses. Shearing, strength criterion.

Torsion, strength criterion, thin tube, rectangular beam, steel sections.

Bending, strength criterion, beam of equal strength, deflection.
