Aims and Objectives

Teaching the essential notions of the general theory of the obligations(contract law).

To allow the student to apply this theory to the special contracts while using the adequate legal vocabulary .

To allow the student to analyse and to understand legal provisions in contract law.

To allow the student to analyse and to understand cases of case-law.

Description

The general theory of obligations:

  1. Definition and principles.
  2. Formation of the contract: autonomy of will.
  3. Validity conditions of the contract.
  4. Effects of the contract between parties:principle and exceptions.
  5. Effects of the contract towards third parties:principle and exceptions.
  6. Modalties of the obligations.
  7. Extinction of the obligations: payment, put back debts, compensation, prescription, breach of contract.

The evidence under contract law.
