Prerequisite

Anatomy, physiology of the pregnancy, of the obstetrical mechanic and the postpartum. (course of pathologies in urology and gynaecology, 3rd bachelor).

Aims and Objectives

Knowing and understanding of the impact of pregnancy and childbirth on the pelvic , visceral, abdominal and spinal static of women.

Maintain the assumption of a pre and post-natal rehabilitation.

 

Description

Anatomy of the female pelvic floor.

Delivery.

Anatomical, physiological and psychological changes of the pregnant woman and the young woman given birth.

Organization of a program of prenatal physiotherapy under an eutocic childbirth.

Organization of a postnatal physiotherapy program at the maternity and from home.

Perineal, abdominal and spinal rehabilitation techniques.
