Aims and Objectives

To know the main methods of qualitative , quantitative and structural and separative analysis and their limits.

Description

Errors in chemical analysis

Gravimetry : definition, inconvenients, interests.

Titrimetry

  • Introduction : definition , conditions for a chemical reaction to be used with titrimetrical objectives, volumetric dosage; titrage modes; volumetrical measurement device
  • Expression of standards solutions concentration
  • Systematic examination of titrage conditions realted to different reactions.

Electrochemical methods : electrogravimetry; potentiometry; polarography; amperometry;coulometry;conductimetry.

Spectral analysis methods, X-rays , spectophotometry…

Separation techniques: separation with and without transformation of the analytes, separation by chromatography, electrophoresis
