Theory and practive of 2D CG creation, with still and moving image. Graphic creation projects and technical development. CG software practice. The main goal is to get a deeper knowledge in theory and practice of CG arts and crafts, project-related, in any context. The course also includes projects related to printing techniques (with theory and history notions). We embrass notions of design, layout, pagesetting etc. Visit of a Press and statements by professionnals in this field.

This course is devoted either to the realisation of an environement used through a game engine either to the realisation of a printed visual figuring a virtual reality (retouching and photo assembly from  RAW files operating techniques as the HDR treatment, multiplicity, ...).

 

Description

Use of the GTKRadiant Software, basic concepts in the makin of game maps. Use of techniques of recording and software of retouch, treatment and photo assembly  as Lightroom, Photomatix, Photoshop, and of basic techniques as the HDR treatment or the photomontage of multiplicity in order to create a phtotmontage representing a virtual reality.
