Aims and Objectives

Understanding and ability to use the mathematical notions and tools, which are the object of the course, including with a modern calculating package.

Description

1. Algebra: Eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Diagonalisation. Particular matrices. 2. Calculus: Improper integrals. Expansion in power series. Functions of several variables (differential, multiple integral). Fourier series. Line integral and Green Formula. 3. Applications, problems and exercises relating these subjects. 4. Laboratory with a modern calculating package.
