Prerequisite

Course of general methodology and applied methodology - 1st year professional integration activities.

Aims and Objectives

To go further into the control of social environment and infrastructures, and different social work aspects;

To professionalize use of laws and integration of social practices;

To develop capability of questioning again and criticism spirit.

Description

Visit of a prison and a psychiatric institution, as well as other specific social institutions;

Establishment of a written summary about a social theme and oral presentation to the class by small groups of students;

Presentation by each student, referring to an analysis guide, of a social situation and/or problem met during his placement. This situation is collectively analysed and commented afterwards.
