Aims and Objectives

-Identify the main idea of a text without using reference books (reading skill);

-Use relevant reference tools to understand a word, a phrase;

-Write various types of texts (letters, minutes, faxes, emails, reports) in a syntactically correct language (writing skill);

-Take part in everyday conversations (listening and speaking skills);

-Understand interactive spoken language from various sources (listening skill);

-React idiomatically to daily situations (speaking skill);

-Develop a point of view (speaking skill);

-Take part in debates (listening and speaking skills);

-Communicate on the telephone and take down notes (listening and speaking skills);

Future and conditional; passive voice; degrees of comparison; pronominal adverbs; use of the; indirect speech; common prepositions

Lexicon
