Aims and Objectives

This course aims at indicating the complexity of the term and the reality which it claims to approach as well as the interest of a multi-field approach such as criminology

Description

Approach of social pathologies in particular through the history of the criminology·

· Relation with the idea of norms, laws of deviance , criminality, social control : what representation do we have of it ?

How should social pathologies be measured ?

· And among them, criminality

· Do women breach the law less than men ?

Model of criminality treatment

· Retributive, rehabilitating, restorative

· Work under legal order

· The example of educational or philantropical activities

· Moral standard or responsibilsation

Victimological approach

· PTSD

· Critical approach

Dangerosity

· Different approaches of the concept
