Description | Use of microtomes and cryostats Stains of connective fibers, carbohydrates, proteins and nucleic acids. Methods for demonstrating: pigments and precipitate; microorganisms; enzymatic activities. Quality control in histological techniques. Electron microscopy. Immuno histochemistry. Nervous tissue stain. Cytology staining Practical activities (collection of specimens, fixation, inclusion, embedding, sections; histological, histochemical and enzymatic stains).
