Aims and Objectives

Teach to future occupational therapists minimal knowledge that will help them to understand the basic principles of the devices they use, improve and imagine for their disabled patients

Description

Mechanics

· Dynamics: Force and Newton’s laws

· Statics: Rotation moment and balance

· Work, energy, power and conservation laws

Simple machines (lever, pulley, inclined plane, ...)

Hydrostatics (fundamental principle, Archimède, ...)

Electricity: properties of direct currents
