Aims and Objectives

Understanding of the basics of German grammar and ability to properly use a bilingual dictionary to enable the students to understand specialist written documents and to translate them from German into French

 

Description
  1. Practice of the written language: study of documents taken from catalogues of German publishing houses as well as from the teletext of the cultural part of the first German television channel "ARD"
  2. Correct use of a bilingual dictionary and of grammatical notes to develop the students’ skill in translating documents from the target language into French
  3. Familiarization with the pronunciation of the spoken and sung language: reading and pronunciation exercises based on the above-mentioned documents and on some songs by the German group "Rammstein"
